1. After logging in to FTP, the website root directory is the WEB directory. Please place your website program directly in the WEB directory, not in any other directory. The default website document priority is index.html, index.php. File names and directory names for uploads should preferably use letters, numbers, or a combination of letters and numbers. Please do not use Chinese characters or strange characters in names.
2. Jing'an virtual hosting space contains three directories: WEB, LOG, and Backup. The contents stored in the three directories are as follows:
WEB directory: stores your website files;
LOG directory: use the "Log Download" function to download and save your website's access log files to this directory;
Backup directory: stores your backup files; you can clean up backup files as needed to save space.
The above directories and files must not be deleted or renamed at will; otherwise, your website will not be accessible normally.
This webpage file is named index.html. It is a page generated by the system after your hosting is automatically activated. You can delete it or overwrite it with your own page. We recommend using software such as FlashFXP to upload files (FlashFXP Software Download).
3. How to configure FTP software
There are many FTP software programs, but each one requires the following settings:
1. FTP host address: enter the FTP link address displayed on the hosting management page;
2. FTP username: webmaster@ + the domain name or business identifier you filled in when activating, for example webmaster@test.com;
3. FTP password: the password you filled in when activating;
4. FTP port: the default 21 is sufficient.
